About Dundrum FC

Welcome to Dundrum Football Club

Situated in Meadowbrook, Dundrum, Dublin 14, our club has been committed to encouraging our community’s participation in sport for over 50 years!

The club is managed on an entirely voluntary basis by over 80 adults, running 34 schoolboy/schoolgirl soccer teams, an U21 Men’s team, a Senior team and an Over 35s team. We also run two academies on Saturday and Sunday for ages 4-7yrs.

In terms of matches alone this involves the planning and organising of approximately 700 matches both home and away throughout each season.

Our home ground is Meadowbrook Park, which comprises of three full size pitches, two 9 a side pitches, three 7 a side pitches and two 5 a side pitches. We take great pride in our Clubhouse, which was built in 2004 and is a great asset to both the Club and local community.

Apart from managing the 34 teams throughout the season, the club organises a large range of community-based activities including Easter and Summer camps, FAI Summer School camps, Mini World Cup, First Aid training and Development courses for coaches. We also provide football services to local schools in the area.

Dundrum Football club is represented in the South Dublin League, Dublin & District Schoolboys League, Leinster Senior League and the Amateur League.

Our aim is to provide a facility where players from the age of four, can develop their skills and reach their full potential in a friendly and safe environment. A considerable effort in terms of finance and time is made to constantly develop our coaching programme and upskill both managers and players alike.

As a Club, we are intensely proud of our heritage and the contribution the Club has made, and continues to make, to the local community. Over the past number of years the club has developed considerably and we look forward with confidence and optimism to a very successful future!
